Predicting the Rise of Narendra Modi: Laghu Parashari & Vimshottari Mahadasha Decoded

The Secret Crux of Hindu Astrology lies in the Dasha System, which even ace astrologers find difficult to decode for predicting the time of events. Today, I shall discuss Vimshottari Mahadasha and how to interpret the Mahadasha result, as described in the classical texts Laghu Parashari and Ududaya Pradeep, which contain 42 verses (Shlokas).  You will never be able to predict the timing of events properly, according to Hindu Jyotish, if you do not learn Laghu Parashari properly and understand the micro-meanings of all the verses. The following are the synopsis of the Laghu Parashari:

1. The Trikone Lords are always the functional benefic planets in a horoscope.
2. The Kendra Lords are neutral.
3. The lord of the 2^nd house is neutral.
4. Trik lords are also neutral.
5. Trishadaya lords are sworn functional malefics.

BENEFIC & MALEFIC COMBINATIONS:

1. When a Kendra Lord is with a Trikone lord, the Raj Yoga is formed.
2. When the lords of the 2^nd & 11^th houses are associated with a Trikone lord, the Dhan Yoga is formed.
3. When a Kendra lord is in association with a Trishadaya lord, it turns out to be a dreaded functional malefic. 
4. When a Trik lord establishes a relation with a Trishadaya lord, it becomes excessively malefic.
5. When a Trik lord establishes a relation with a Trikone lord, it sheds its maleficence.

Let us now understand the concept of Laghu Parashari in the horoscope of a famous personality.

HOROSCOPE OF MANYAVAR SHRI NARENDRA MODI-JI, THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA

In the horoscope of the Manyavar, the Trikone lords are Venus, the Lagna Lord, Saturn, the 5^th lord, and Mercury, the 9^th lord.

Venus and Saturn are together in the 11^th house of Leo and are in mutual aspect with Jupiter, the Trishadaya 3^rd and 6^th lord. He was born with Saturn Mahadasha, which ran upto 12 years of his age. His Saturn Mahadasha did not turn out to be financially favourable for him, as Saturn is the lord of the 22^nd Drekkana and is in the 64^th Navamsha.

He got his Mercury Mahadasha at the age of 12 years, which continued up to his 29 years of age. Mercury, as the 9^th lord, is a benefic Trikone Lord and as the 12^th lord, is neutral. Mercury is with the Sun, a Trishadaya lord and a dreaded functional malefic. Mercury is further with Ketu. Due to so much malefic influence on Mercury, it could not deliver him favourable results.

He got his Ketu Mahadasha at the age of 29, which continued up to his 36th year of age. During this period, he became the Pracharak of the most respectable organisation, RSSS, looking after the Gujarat and Delhi region and started working as a grass-roots level organiser of the RSSS. Ketu is with the benefic Mercury and is also with the malefic, the Sun.

Manyavar got the Mahadasha of Venus, a benefic Trikone lord, from his age of 36 years to 56 years, when he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Venus, the Lagna Lord, is with the 5^th lord, Saturn, both are the benefic Trikone lord. Manyavar continue to remain the Chief Minister of Gujarat throughout his Sun Mahadasha (56 to 62 years of age). The Sun, though, is a harmful Trishadaya lord, but its association with the 9^th lord Mercury gave it a benefic touch.

Manyavar became the Prime Minister of India during his Moon Mahadasha running between his age of 62 years to 72 years. The Moon is the neutral Kendra lord, being the 10^th lord and is with Mars, the neutral 2^nd, and the 7^th lord. His hard work and selfless dedication to the nation paid him the dividend in a neutral Mahadasha. However, the Moon and Mars are in classical Chandra-Mangal Raj Yoga.
