The most difficult part in astrology is timing events, which is only possible astrologically through Dasha Analysis. Most astrologers commit mistakes in predicting the timing of events, bringing disrepute to astrology, a divine science. But by using the Birth Chart and D40-Khavedamsha intelligently and meticulously, we can correctly predict the timing of events during a Mahadasha.

Hindu Jyotish Shastra permits making the rotational horoscopes as well as making the DASHA LORD as a temporary Lagna in Dasha analysis.

A horoscope comprises 360 degrees, and each degree has subtle promise and significance on a relative pedestal. The Degrees-Minutes-Seconds occupied by the Mahadasha Planet in a horoscope have all the promises a Mahadasha Lord holds during his dynamic period, provided we can interpret the same intelligently. EASY STEPS

1. Make the zodiac sign occupied by the Mahadasha Lord (MDL) in your horoscope as the temporary Lagna.
2. Note down the Degrees & Minutes of the Mahadasha Lord.
3. Take these degrees to the relevant houses and convert them into Khavedamsha to check the various promises of the MDL based on the degree-wise relative promises of the MDL.
4. Check and analyse the converted sign and the sign lord in the Khavedamsha for examining the auspiciousness and inauspiciousness, which the Mahadasha Lord carries in different areas of life during his dynamic period.
5. Khavedamsha is highly time sensitive since a Khavedamsha measures only 0.45 minutes.

MARRIAGE

Smt. Indira Gandhi was married on 26 March 1942 during her Rahu Vimshottari Mahadasha.

MDL Rahu is of 9.12 degrees in Sagittarius. The marriage is seen from the 7^th house. The 7^th house from the MDL Rahu is Gemini. Taking the degrees of Rahu to the 7^th house of Gemini and converting the same into Khavedamsha, we get Aries Khavedamsha.

Let us now examine Aries Khavedamsha in the D40 chart of Smt. Indira Gandhi. Aries Khavedamsha contains Rahu (not Ketu), as it is a standard astrological teaching that in whichever Divisional Chart Rahu & Ketu have been shown together, Ketu need to be brought to the 7^th sign from Rahu. Ketu is, therefore, not in Aries but in Libra.

Aries Khavedamsha is strong with the aspect of its exalted sign lord, Mars. The presence of Rahu in Aries shows unorthodoxy in marriage, which was 100% true as Feroze Gandhi was a Parsi and Indira Gandhi, a high-caste Brahmin Hindu. The marriage was the offshoot of a love affair, which is also clearly indicated in the Khavedamsha as the 7^th lord, the Moon, from Mars, the lord of Aries, is in the 5^th house of emotion from Mars.

BIRTH OF HER TWO SONS (RAJIV & SANJAY) DURING RAHU MAHADASHA.

Converting the degrees of the MDL Rahu in the 5^th house Aries from the MDL Rahu in Sagittarius, we get Aries Khavedamsha. Aries Khavedamsha is fortified by the aspect of an exalted Mars, the sign lord clearly signifying child birth during Rahu Mahadasha.

THE DEATH OF HER HUSBAND (8 SEPTEMBER 1960) AND FATHER (27 MAY 1964) DURING HER JUPITER MAHADASHA.

In the Birth Chart, the MDL Jupiter is at 15.00.06 degrees in Taurus. The 7^th house of spouse from the MDL Jupiter in Taurus is Scorpio. Therefore, Scorpio is the significant house of the spouse from the MDL Jupiter in Taurus. The ominous events for a significant house are seen from the 8^th house of the significant house. From Scorpio, the 8^th house is Gemini. We will now take the degrees of the MDL Jupiter to Gemini sign and convert the same into Khavedamsha. In converting, we get Sagittarius Khavedamsha.

In D40, we can see that Jupiter, the lord of the Sagittarius Khavedamsha, is in the Maraka 7^th house and is aspected by Saturn, the death-giving 2^nd lord from Sagittarius, clearly indicating a period of loss of spouse.  

Similarly, the 8^th house from the 9^th house of the father from the MDL Jupiter is Leo. Converting the degrees of the MDL Jupiter in Leo, we get Sagittarius Khavedamsha. We have already discussed above, the death-inflicting potential of Sagittarius Khavedamsha in the horoscope of Smt. Indira Gandhi, in relation to the Jupiter Mahadasha, which clearly indicated the death of her father, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

INDIRA GANDHI BECAME THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA FOR THE FIRST TIME ON 24 JANUARY 1966, DURING HER JUPITER MAHADASHA.

The same Mahadasha, which gave her bereavements, also took her to the top post while acting from the different pivots based on the degrees of the Mahadasha Lord.

The 10^th house from the MDL Jupiter in Taurus is Aquarius, and the 9^th house of professional luck from the 10^th house of Aquarius is Libra. When we convert the degrees of the MDL Jupiter (15:00:06) into the 10^th Aquarius and the 9^th house of professional Luck in Libra, we get Sagittarius Khavedamsha, which is the point of confluence of profession and professional luck during the Mahadasha of Jupiter. Moreover, Sagittarius Khavedamsha is fortified with the aspect of the sign lord Jupiter. The confluence of the professional career, and the luck of career in the same sign Sagittarius, fortified by the aspect of the sign lord, Jupiter, made her the Prime Minister of India for the first time in 1966.
